Paragraph evaluation

For example, people act heroically because they want to be known as someone special, who can be looked up to as a role model. According to the article, How Jackie Robinson Changed Baseball, “Jackie Robinson inspired a lot of players to be more aggressive when playing their position and to not give up.”  This shows that people act heroically because they want to be role models by relentlessly pursuing their passion, no matter the consequences, to make a difference in society and inspire those who are watching to fight for their rights.

Jackie Robinson would act heroically because he knew that someday he would be the first african-american to play baseball and have people look look up to him.For example, people act heroically because they want to make other people mad and not like them.

Being heroic or doing heroic actions can make people feel good about themselves because they would feel like they helped others. Usually, an action that changes people and how they live can be a bold move. Claude McKay was a writer who expressed how he felt in his works. In one of his works called,  If We Must Die he states” If we must die, let it not be like hogs.” I think that McKay means that you need to die with a purpose. “What though before us lies the open grave?” This quote means that he does not care if he dies fighting for his rights as a colored person. He just wishes to change colored people’s lives and to make them happy.

For example, people act heroically because they want to be know as someone special who they can look up to. “Jackie Robinson inspired a lot of players to be more aggressive when playing their position and to not give up.” Jackie robinson changed a lot of players because of the way he would play baseball. Robinson was one of the best baseball players in the color barrier which made a lot of teams look up to him. Jackie Robinson would act heroically because he knew that someday he would be the first african-american to play baseball and have people look look up to him.For example, people act heroically because they want to make other people mad and not like them.

For example, people act heroically because people want to enact change in their community toward the attitudes of racism.

How Jackie Robinson Changed Baseball stated, Robinson “once received a 7-inch gash in his leg” from a white “opponent who spiked him with his cleats.” This shows that people act heroically to make a difference because the other team, and even his teammates, would treat him violently and unfair because of the color of his skin, but he persevered.
