The Justice Department points to an allegation that Mr. Trump may have violated a law that prohibits the solicitation of an illegal foreign campaign contribution, which doesn’t necessarily mean money, it can also mean a “thing of value.”
The question is not what you believe politically. I do not want to hear any conversation about your “politics.” We only want to discuss the matter at hand. Your opinion for or against ouster does not mean anything about your political opinion. If we were the Senate, we would want our decision to be objective and not dependent on our political alliances.
So here it is:
Do you think American presidents should ask foreign powers to investigate political rivals? Why or why not?
Do you think that President Trump should be ousted from the presidency based on this law? Why or why not?
