-write the editor’s name at the bottom of the paper being edited
Your final Prologue and Scene 1 summaries are due tomorrow, at the beginning of class, with the rough draft attached to it.

One section (period two) of English 2 had the tenth grade assembly.
The other section (period three) practiced public speaking without placeholders by using a game, and then wrote a sneeze about something unusual that has happened to them.
If you had to write a biography of your life, what would you title it and why?
Go over summary basics.
How to Summarize: Get to the point!
1.Read the text.
2.Don’t let big words scare you.
3.Ask, “What was this text about?”
- Should be a complete sentence or two
- Should cover main point and key ideas
- Should be in your own words
- Shouldn’t just be a word or two

Homework: You owe me TWO summaries by Monday! Summary (1) of the Prologue/Parodos, and (2) of Scene One.
Name three people whose lives have been improved by knowing you, and explain why. Write at least one page.
Begin reading Antigone in small groups, filling out characterizations of the main characters as you go.
If someone gains, someone else loses, (if I get a job, someone else did not get it). How much does this reflect life, and how much does it come up short? Give examples.

- Write to me a narrative short story about a time you decided to do the right thing, even though it was difficult, arduous, or you simply did not want to do it.
- Your story should be at least two pages, single spaced. Should you decide to skip lines, the story should be four pages.
- Please do your best work and have fun with this assignment!
- Don’t forget a creative title.
